Jamaica Olympic champion Elaine Thompson-Herah won gold at the 2022 Commonwealth games in Birmingham, United Kingdom. The Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020 Olympic gold medalist in the 100 and 200-meter ran 10.95 seconds ahead of St Lucia’s and university of Texas’s Julian Alfred and British Daryll Neita who won silver and silver and bronze respectively.
