Expect a very fast time from  Shericka  Jackson later tonight.  This opening semi-final race was amazing, and Jackson certainly stole the show in the 200m, we saw some real excitement.

We saw one of the fastest races ever in world championships history.  As  Shericka Jackson  ran  a blistering 21.67 seconds one of the fastest times of the year the  fastest of the year only to be outdone by

her 21.55 seconds at the  Jamaica National athletics trial in June.

In the second semi-final, we saw USA’s Tamara  Clark with a huge upset win over both Dina Asher-Smith the defending Champion, and also Olympic champion  Elaine Thompson, Herah. Clark won this race with a time of 21.95. This was a very close rate to Smith and Thompson Herah. We’re just 2 1/100 seconds behind.

And in semi-final #3 We got to see Favor of Offilli of  Nigeria Abby Steiner of the USA  and also Shelly-Ann Fraser Pryce the gold medalist in the 100m.

The Nigerian and Steiner were considered the heavy favorites for this race as they both run under 22 seconds this season.

However, Shelly-Ann Fraser Pryce absolutely dominated this race with a time of 21.82 seconds, destroying the field by a huge margin. She pulled out of the block like a rocket, took the lead that Mama Rocket never relinquished
