The 128th Penn Relays in 2024 showcased the Championship of America finals for both boys’ and girls’ High School 4x100m relay events. Hydel High from Jamaica secured victory in the girls’ section on Friday, April 26th with a time of 44.71 seconds. Following closely were fellow Jamaican schools Edwin Allen High and St Jago High, recording times of 44.96 seconds and 45.14 seconds respectively. Archbishop Carroll from Washington DC claimed 4th place, crossing the finish line in 45.15 seconds.

In the boys’ 4x100m relay, three Jamaican schools dominated the top spots, echoing the results of the girls’ race. Excelsior High clinched 1st place with a time of 40.45 seconds, followed by Kingston College in 2nd with 40.53 seconds, and Herbert Morrison in 3rd with 40.56 seconds. Archbishop Carroll from Washington DC, similar to their female counterparts, finished 4th with a time of 40.68 seconds.
