Veteran emcee MC Nuffy is overjoyed to be touring internationally with dancehall icon Vybz Kartel, calling it a dream come true.

“Mi always preach ‘Free Vybz Kartel’ from day one, and now look—him free and wi a mek history,” Nuffy shared. “A nuh just hype, a real loyalty. When him did a rise, mi deh deh, and now mi proud fi see him win.”

Nuffy, a seasoned emcee for over 30 years, played a key role in Kartel’s early career—even collecting his first Sting earnings. Kartel recently acknowledged Nuffy’s support, joking that he was “almost like mi manager.”

Now, Nuffy has the honor of introducing Kartel at his first post-release show, calling it a full-circle moment. “Dis a di reward fi loyalty and hard work,” he said. “Wi always look out fi each other, and now blessings a flow.”
