American rapper Kanye West and controversial influencer Candace Owens were chastised by famous Record producer and entrepreneur Russel Simmons regarding sporting white lives matter on their garments.
They wore the controversial shirts in Paris during a surprise fashion show for Yeezy, the brand belonging to Ye, formerly known as Kanye West. Candace wore a white t-shirt with “white lives matter printed on the back in black writing and the Pope’s face on the front while Kanye flaunted a black t-shirt with white writing.
The “White Lives Matter” t-shirt stunt is one of the latest gimmicks by Kanye who launched a failed presidential bid in 2020. Kanye and Owens have previously teamed up on political statements in fashion, including in 2018 when he designed “Blexit” t-shirts for Owens. The shirts were intended to encourage Black people to leave the Democratic Party
