Jamaica’s three-time Olympic medalist Shelly-Ann Fraser Pryce runs the fastest woman’s 100meter in 2022 with a world-leading time of 10.67, and the 12th fastest woman 100m of all time. While the young shining star of Mulilo Namibia Christine Mboma pulled up halfway in the middle of the race and was unable to complete the task.

Meanwhile on the men’s side of the 100m sprint race, with the absence of the Olympic 100m champion Marcell Jacobs due to illness, a hometown hero emerges by the name of Ferdinand Omanyala who took the opportunity to run a season-best and a world-lead of 9.85 to win the men 100m. This was the 3rd edition of the Kip Kino classic, a continental tour gold athletics meeting.
